General Return Policy and Right of Withdrawal

On this page, you will read how returns and exchanges work at CasaLumio. For consumers, the statutory right of withdrawal applies. Below, we explain in clear terms what this means and how to properly register a return. 

1. Return period and right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days after receiving the last delivery without stating a reason. After notifying your withdrawal, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.

2. Conditions for returning

You may unpack and assess the product as you would do in a physical store. The product may only be used as necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

If the product has been used beyond what is necessary and this causes wear or depreciation, we may deduct this depreciation from the amount to be refunded. Return the product in its entirety and, if possible, in the original packaging.

3. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Products that have been made to your specifications or customised for you.
• Products that have been modified by the customer, such as shortening of wiring.

4. How does returning work?

1. Register your return via the return portal.
2. After registration, you can create a return label. The costs will be clearly displayed in advance.
3. Pack the product carefully to avoid transport damage.
4. Drop off the package at a collection point.
5. Keep the shipping receipt until the return is fully processed.

5. Exchange

Do you want to exchange a product? For the fastest processing, we recommend returning the current product and placing a new order for the desired item immediately.

6. Return costs

The return costs are at your own expense and vary by country. The amounts below apply per return label via our return portal.

In the case of a defective product or an incorrectly delivered order, we will cover the return costs entirely. In this case, please contact us via info@casalumio.com before returning the product.

7. Refund

When you exercise the right of withdrawal, you will receive the full purchase amount, including standard shipping costs for the outbound delivery, refunded. We will process the refund no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notification.

8. Damaged or incorrectly delivered

Has your order arrived damaged? Please report this preferably within 48 hours via the return portal or by email at info@casalumio.com with clear photos of the damage and packaging.
