Welcome to CasaLumio, part of LichtXpert B.V. In these general terms and conditions, we clearly explain the agreements that apply when you place an order in our webshop. We attach great importance to transparency and honesty.

By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

2. Applicability

These terms apply to every product and every agreement between you and CasaLumio. We do our best to make these terms accessible before you complete your order.

3. The offer and prices

All stated prices are inclusive of VAT and other legal charges. We describe our lamps and accessories as accurately as possible. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer, such as clear pricing errors, do not bind CasaLumio. If such an error occurs, we will inform you immediately.

4. The agreement

The agreement is final as soon as you have placed the order and we have sent a confirmation via email. We reserve the right to refuse orders if we suspect fraud or incorrect information, in which case we will refund any payments immediately.

5. Cancelling an order

Do you want to cancel an order? Please contact us as soon as possible via info@casalumio.com. As long as an order has not yet been processed or forwarded to the warehouse, we will try to cancel it free of charge.

Orders from the brands Steinhauer, Mexlite and Anne Lighting are forwarded directly to the warehouse after placement. Therefore, these orders usually cannot be cancelled after they have been placed before they are shipped. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal after receipt of the order.

6. Right of withdrawal (Cooling-off period)

You have the right to withdraw your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason. After withdrawal, you have another 14 days to return the product. The product must, if reasonably possible, be returned in its original condition and packaging. A fee may be charged for depreciation due to unnecessary use.

7. Return costs

The costs for returning your order are at your own expense, unless there is a defective product or an incorrect delivery by CasaLumio. The amounts below apply per return label via our return portal.

8. Refunds

In the case of a full withdrawal, we will refund the purchase amount including the standard shipping costs of the outbound shipment as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned shipment or until you have demonstrated that you have returned the product.

In the case of a partial return, the shipping costs of the outbound shipment will not be refunded. Any extra costs for a more expensive shipping method than the standard delivery will also not be refunded. We will use the same payment method for the refund as you used unless otherwise agreed.

9. Safe payment

Payments are securely processed via MultiSafepay and PayPal. We offer various payment methods such as iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, and Klarna. CasaLumio does not charge extra transaction fees for using these payment methods.

10. Warranty and conformity

We guarantee the quality of our products. You have the right to statutory warranty. Additionally, CasaLumio offers 2 years commercial warranty on all our fixtures. This warranty does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Delivery and execution

We ship from our own warehouse in Apeldoorn. The total delivery time consists of the processing time of the brand and the delivery time to the destination country. Processing times are indications based on normal working days. In some cases, processing may take a little longer due to extra quality checks or additional protective packaging.

12. Complaints and disputes

Do you have a complaint? Let us know at info@casalumio.com. We will respond within 14 days at the latest. Dutch law applies to our agreements.
